AMW is an active participant in the development of the local communities, leading with initiatives on employment, community building, health and the environment

Employment

AMW provides employment to a large number of local residents. Unskilled workers have been given twin-sharing, air-conditioned accommodation at the AMW Township. The township is also an important contributor to the local economy now.

Community building

AMW has engaged proactively with its neighbouring communities through initiatives such as school renovations, providing study material to students and imparting vocational training. AMW also supports cultural, religious and sports activities enthusiastically.

Healthcare

AMW has helped villagers dig borewells to provide safe drinking water. We also conduct blood donation drives and medical camps for the elderly, women and children.

Environment

AMW has taken up afforestation on a big scale, having planted 100,000 trees already. We have also created an artificial pond to harvest rainwater during the monsoon.
